Garage band

This is the why i made this music with Julian Wogman we found it very hard at the beginning because we had no idea how to use it after looking at youtube we learn how to use garage band it is a very useful tool because it help us to make some good music i really liked it because we made a fantastic music.
My Contribution
My contribution towards the project, was to act and edited the opening sequence. I feel that the first time I acted the first sequence was very hard for me becuase it was very different to act in front of a camera i act a lot in theater but when the camera was shooting at me i felt very embarrassed and in a way weird because all the tension was on me.,Therefore, re-shooting gave me the chance to learn from my mistakes and make sure I could make the second time better. However, the second time we re-shoot the weather was very unreliable and we ended up having to re-shoot again we did pretty well we tried our best and also all of us wanted to do well so we would go on a Sunday and a Saturday to re shoot we really wanted to do well so we really went for it this time and i think i was a success we edited it a lot and work very hard we would edit at break times and lunch times also we would work on it at home just to make it interesting for the audiences and we want everyone to like it.
Re-shooting
Last week we re-filmed parts of our opening title in St. Johns Wood high street. It went very well and we got a lot of footage shoot. I acted in the film and also edited the footage so that it can be cut and pasted in to our final opening sequence so hopefully it will be improved. We have worked very hard at the re shoot James Vanger was our directer and Julian Wogman was our producer both of them have tried there best to direct and producer me so i did my best to be a good actor in it.

Never Back Down

Never Back Down is a 2008 American action film starring Sean Faris, Amber Heard, Cam Gigandet, and Djimon Hounsou. It was theatrically released on March 14, 2008. The film's respective tagline/slogan is "Win or lose... Everyone has their fight." it is about Jake Tyler (Sean Faris) has recently moved to Orlando, Florida with his family to support his younger brother's shot at a professional tennis career. Jake was a star athlete on the football team at home, but in this new city he is an outsider with a reputation for being a quick tempered brawler after a video of him on the Internet starting a fight in a football game, because one of his opponents made a rash comment about Jake's dead father, circulates around his new school. this is not really a gangster movie but i really liked it and also this was one of my favorite films.
Layer Cake

The film centers on a cocaine distributor played by Daniel Craig. The character, who also narrates the film, is deliberately unnamed throughout, but is listed in the credits as "XXXX". XXXX has established a successful business in London buying, cutting, and selling cocaine while avoiding the largesse and gangster behavior associated with drug dealing. Having made his fortune, he secretly plans to retire from the business for good. i really likes this movie because it has Daniel Craig in it and his one of my favourite actors and he also started in the new James Bond.
Adulthood

This is one of my favorite films i really think this film is good because i like the cast like Noel Clark he is very good at acting and every film i have seen where he plays in it it was very interesting and good so i always watch it. the other reason i put this up was because it was a gangster movie and that really inspired me and our actual movie is about theifs and gangsters so i chose this movie to do it. Also i wanted this movie on DVD because i wanted to watch it when i go on hoilday as well becuase it was one of my favourite films i have ever seen.

These here are our location it was set in St john's Wood i have taken all these photos on my camera to show our audience that were we have filmed our 2 minute movie. i believe that the pictures came out very well and they are very clear so everyone knows where our location are. I think i have done a good job of this because now our audience can see where and what kind of angle we are thinking of shooting this movie.
In the lesson we learn about The 5 stages of media production.
*development and research.
*pre-production and preparing for production,(including: storyboard/shot list, location, casting, scheduling, budgeting, testing and sound).
*production and filming.
*post production (editing, sound and titles).
*distribution and exhibition.
This is James Vanger's voice over:
When i was younger all i wanted to do was get older now that i am i can do what adults do and i do i can drink, drive, vote and have sex i dont vote thats not for me i realised a couple things along the way im good at what i do but its how i do it that gets me into trouble you may think im a bad man but the thing is im not.

we edited Postman with Final Cut Pro and this year we will use Final Cut Pro a lot
Me and James Vanger had to do a test and we thought of doing something very interesting and valuable so we found a postman walking to the post box and then he walked to his car. After we flimed him we used a song on top of the flim so it was make it stand out and likable.

story board

This is my new and improved story board i have wrote down what is happening in each scene and i have worked out where everything goes i may change this story board again becuase its to early to tell but i really want to do the best i can do make a good movie.

This is my story board we used my idea for the movie because my group like the idea of what i thought. James Vanger and Julian Wogman both did a story board but we all decided that my idea was very good and interesting so we all thought we can do another story board but this time we should improve it a lot. so then after James Vanger did another story board and improved it. it was a great success our group were very happy with this and so was I.

Preliminary Task
For our preliminary Task James Vanger filmed me and Frankie, having a conversation about wherefore i thought if Frankie was high or not, because she came very late to meet up with me and i assumed that she was high because her eyes were red. We all edited it on final cut pro. We shot it with one camera and we used very good techniques such as: match on action, shot reverse shot and we also got the 180 degree rule spot on.
Camera Shots and Angles
alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5470097189603226034" />These are all the different type of shots i wanted you to see this because you can understand how many different shot sizes there are.

match on action
Match on action is something that is used in film editing which it is a cut that connects two different views of the same action at the same moment in the movement. It also is where you match the camera shot to the action that is happening in the scene.
Continuity
Continuity is about how some movies make very small mistakes like in Jurassic park the movie there is a scene where the is a white towel, but when the puase the flim to edit it by mistake they change the towel into a pink towel. There was another scene where this old man was at the back of the plane and after he was the first person to come out of the plane which cant really happen.
180 degree rule
I have learned that for example you go to a football pitch you never get cameras on both sides the reason for this is because that will confuse the audience. when you see a movie the camera wont be going both sides because then that would confuse us the audience because you will think that the person is going both ways.
Today's lesson
Today in class we learned how to upload films to our computers. we went around our school and filming interesting things that we could find. I found the task a bit hard but me and my partner did succeed this task.
